GETTING HERE

GETTING HERE

A CARIBBEAN ISLAND WITHOUT THE COMPLICATED JOURNEY

Getting to Ordovician is remarkably easy. There is no need for domestic flights, small planes, or complicated ferry connections. From Panama City, the journey takes just over two hours by road toward the Caribbean coast, followed by a short 10-minute boat crossing to Isla Grande.

Panama’s position in Central America, between Costa Rica and Colombia, makes it exceptionally well connected to North America and South America, while Isla Grande offers a distinctly different setting — Caribbean, tropical, and removed from the pace of Panama City.

FROM CITY TO ISLAND

From Panama City, travel by car to Casa de Rick, Ordovician’s mainland Welcome Desk in Juan Gallego, Colón. The drive takes approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes, depending on traffic and road conditions.

You may drive your own vehicle or arrange private transportation with our team. Guests arriving by car may leave their vehicle in our complimentary private parking area for the duration of their stay.

Please let us know in advance how you plan to arrive and your expected arrival time so our team can prepare for your arrival.

Once you reach Casa de Rick, you can leave the rest to us. Our team will welcome you, assist with your luggage, and coordinate the final part of your journey to the island.

From the mainland, a 10-minute boat ride across the Caribbean brings you directly to Ordovician on Isla Grande. As the road gives way to open water, the island and tropical coastline come into view — making the final crossing part of the experience itself.

Round-trip boat transfers at check-in and check-out are included with your stay.
