EXPLORE THE REEFS OF PORTOBELO NATIONAL PARK
Between Isla Mamey and Isla Sordo, the Caribbean reveals a quieter underwater landscape of coral, tropical fish, seagrass and clear, warm water. Located within Portobelo National Park, this guided snorkeling experience takes you beyond Isla Grande to explore protected waters shaped by reefs, mangroves and small Caribbean islands.
Conditions are often calm and visibility can be excellent on clear days, creating an inviting setting to swim above the reef and discover marine life away from the busier shoreline of Isla Mamey.

CLEAR WATER, CORAL & A QUIETER SIDE OF THE CARIBBEAN
The waters between Isla Mamey and Isla Sordo offer more than a single reef. Sandy areas covered in seagrass alternate with coral formations, while the islands create protected sections of water that can feel almost lagoon-like when conditions are right.
On clear days, visibility allows you to take in the variety below the surface — tropical fish moving through the reef, coral formations and the subtle changes in the seabed as you swim between different areas.
The experience is especially rewarding when the sea is calm and the weather is clear. Early departures help make the most of the morning conditions, while our team monitors the weather and visibility before each outing.
